Science Lesson Plans for the Week
Throughout the week students will be completing science activities about frogs. They will learn the difference between a frog and a toad, a frog’slife cycle, parts of a frog, freshwater and saltwater animals, and apply everything they have learned at the end of the week by creating a frogsfact book or frogresearch project.

There is a nine page PowerPoint that describes the similarities and differences between frogs and toads. Real pictures are included. If you do not have access to a computer, there are identical posters that you can use instead
Frog and ToadVenn Diagram
As a class, everyone will complete a frog and toadVennDiagram. The pieces to complete this activity are included. Students can complete a frog and toad comparison worksheet or fill out their own Venn Diagram when finished.

Since frogs live in freshwater,I thought it would be fun to include a sort that talked animals thatlive in freshwater and animals that live in saltwater. There are 24 real pictures of animals for students to sort according to where they live. Upon completion of the lesson, students can complete a worksheet.

There is a poster that shows the different parts of a frog. Upon completion of the lesson, students willcomplete a worksheet that will require them to label the different parts of a frog.

This is perfect for younger students that are not quite ready for a research project. This craftivity has students apply everything that they have learned during the week. They will write five facts about frogsand illustrate each fact. For students that are unable to write just yet, thefive frogsfacts arealready written and students will simplyillustrate each fact.
